The NBA playoffs have arrived, any predictions???

April 19th will begin the most intense and highly-contested Western Conference playoffs the NBA has ever seen, or at least that's how it looks on paper. We'll see who brings their "A" game, and we'll see who, if anyone, folds and collapses. Boston and Detroit are the beasts of the East, but I would be very cautious of Washington, Orlando, and Cleveland, because as we all saw last season, Lebron can single-handedly lead his team to the NBA Finals. The Spurs are my #1 team, and the Jazz are my #2, so those are my choices, I'm hoping for a Western conference rematch. I would really like to see the Spurs win back-to-back titles for once, instead of taking a year before deciding they want to win it all again. Come one, come all, make your most outrageous predictions, just be prepared to back them up with facts, or be prepared to eat crow.

The NBA playoffs have arrived, any predictions???I HATE THE LAKERS!!!! MAINLY BECAUSE OF KOBE. I HOPE THEY LOSE IN THE VERY FIRST ROUND.........NO, NO, I TAKE THAT BACK. I HOPE THEY MEET THE SUNS AND THE SUNS WHOOP THEIR BUTTS...................... |

The NBA playoffs have arrived, any predictions???I don't see the Lakers winning the West. The Spurs look a little vulnerable. New Orleans would be cool to see, but I don't think they're ready. They could reach the conference finals then flame out. The Suns seem to have some momentum building, so I like their chances. But the off-the-radar pick is Dallas. Dirk is getting healthy and Kidd is starting to figure out his new teammates. They will be very dangerous. In the East, Boston and Cleveland are the only interesting teams. As much as I hate the Celtics, I think they probably get the nod, especially if LeBron's back acts up, though King James could just take over the whole thing by himself. He's that good. |

The NBA playoffs have arrived, any predictions???I hate the lakers, Spurs, and Mavs and I hope they all lose early and quitely. My hope is that the Hornets bring a Championship to New Orleans for a change. The city needs to have something good happen. Detriot should be the team in the East to beat. Overall, I would like to New Orleans and Detriot play for the championship. However, I know the lakers or Spurs will be there at the end. |

The NBA playoffs have arrived, any predictions???the Boston Celtics in the Eastern confrence, and the Los Angles Lakers in the Western confrence. I like Lebron James, but it's definitly the Celtics this year. Sorry Detroit Fans! The Lakers getting a steal on Paul Gasol makes the Lakers the # 1 with Koby Bryant this year. I 'm not a Bryant fan any longer, but I see the Lakers coming out front after the dust settles down, despite the west having a more competitive confrence this year. |

The NBA playoffs have arrived, any predictions???I like the 76ers to take Detroit the full distance in the first round, with Detroit ultimately waking up and winning (and then getting beat in the next round). I think the most exciting series will continue to be the Spurs and Suns, with the Suns advancing. I truly think that this championship is Boston's to lose. I am a Grizz fan, but you have to like KG. |
